It’s funny though — get a mile off on a trail and everyone disappears. I’m going back in a couple of weeks with my daughter, assuming the gov’t is still working and it’s open, and I’m trying to find a hike that will challenge her and not kill me.
Isn’t that the truth on getting a mile deep on a trail! Those flip-flops and high heels start to feel a little dicey after a bit. Hope you find a good trail.
I went once, in February, and it was still thronged with people. What a lovely spot!

Great pictures of the park! Never mind the new socks. Look at those calves of yours! Must be from all the hiking
haha i need to hike more! Think it's the biking. lets go on a hike. we could take the van back to Lake Cachuma. See if we can find Mary
Haha! No need to look for Mary. Besides, hiking was non-existent around the lake. Maybe there's some trails now after all these years
I need to figure out a way to carry more water; we ran out both days
Yikes! How many liters does your pack carry?
1 :(
Yeah, that's not enough. For most hikes, i use 1.5. For my longer, more difficult hikes, I use 2.5.
There’s no place like it. Excellent share! Thank you.
tx! yeah its kind of amazing.
