You probably don’t need a personal website but maybe for bizness? There was a rash of vibe-coding personal sites right around Claude Code release and I feel like it might’ve hit Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy - the template sites.
Why build with their cumbersome site templates and then pay them $100 a year when you can mess around with AI and deploy to netlify for free?

Physical book publishing and distribution is a whole other animal. I still have trauma from just publishing an ebook about five years ago, though admittedly I think it'd be way, way easier today. AI'm not doing to say exactly whyAI that is.

Apparently book things are big industry; Im learning lots, now I can spell ISBN (thought it was a gut health thing before)
I bought ten ISBNs for a lifelong purpose and now realize I don’t need them too much. :) But I will use them accordingly.
Gut health is especially important right now, btw.

I’ve built a few websites for other people, but when it comes to building one for myself, I suddenly become very good at procrastinating. 😂
I keep asking myself, Do I actually need one?
Meanwhile, I have a very sad placeholder that has been sitting there for far too long.
Also, your sister-in-law’s sky blue purse becoming part of the design might be my favorite part.
The future of AI, to me, is less about replacing people and more about letting us attempt things that once would have required a much larger team.

Indeed. You can save a lot of time and money playing with AI.
